Welcome to Gadus Nordic Trattoria

Here, traditional Italian food meets the best products Lofoten has to offer.
In 1432, Pietro Querini drifted ashore off the small island of Røst in Lofoten, and then returned to Venice,
where he wrote a report on his travels for the Senate.
He is also credited for popularizing stockfish in the Veneto region, also known as Baccalà alla Vicentina.
Fusion cuisine between Italian and Norwegian is nothing new, but a tradition we want to maintain.

The restaurant opened in 2020 and is a family-run restaurant and we want your visit to be tasteful, honest and surprising.
